Christian Fiction Scavenger Hunt Stop #30
Welcome to the Christian Fiction Scavenger Hunt! If you’ve just discovered the hunt, be sure to start at Stop #1, and collect the clues through all the stops, in order, so you can enter to win one of our top 5 grand prizes!
The hunt BEGINS on 3/14 at noon MST with Stop #1 at LisaTawnBergren.com.
Hunt through our loop using Chrome or Firefox as your browser (not Explorer).
There is NO RUSH to complete the hunt—you have all weekend (until Sunday, 3/17 at midnight MST)! So take your time, reading the unique posts along the way; our hope is that you discover new authors/new books and learn new things about them.
Submit your entry for the grand prizes by collecting the CLUE on each author’s scavenger hunt post and submitting your answer in the Rafflecopter form at the final stop, back on Lisa’s site. Many authors are offering additional prizes along the way!
I'm Angela Ruth Strong, and I specialize in the ridiculous. All too often, ideas for my romantic comedies come from real-life embarrassing experiences. When I'm not writing, I work as a flight attendant and ride around the country behind my husband on our motorcycle. You can join my crazy adventures on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
My next rom-com is releasing as part of the Starry Nights collection this June. In my story, Out of Play, a single soccer mom takes her volunteer coaching position a little too far and is replaced by a movie star researching for his next role. She wants to work while he wants to play, but if they team up, they just might win.
Inspiration for this story came from a photo author Sarah Monzon shared on social media of actor Josh Lucas coaching her son's football team. Though I've been writing about acting since my debut novel, and my latest series follows three roommates who met in film school.
HOLLYWOOD HEROES
The idea of making movies has intrigued me ever since childhood vacations to visit family in Southern California. My uncle worked in special effects for the Tonight Show and built sets for the Oscars. He told the absolute best stories about meetings with George Lucas, getting yelled at by Sam Elliot, and having Kevin Costner hold the door open for him. To this little Kansas girl, it felt like a fairytale.
My dream came true when I played an extra in the cowboy ball scene for the Amazon Prime movie based on my book, Finding Love in Big Sky. The actors were amazing and treated me like a VIP.
This last month, I fell in love with actors all over again when attending a Broadway play in New York. It's not fame nor fortune that intrigues me. It's their passion for storytelling. It's their pursuit of a dream. It's the beauty of being a part of something greater than oneself.
That's what I want to create for my characters. That's what I want to encourage in my readers. That's what I want for you.
